Mary B. Russell

Mrs. Mary B. Russell, age 90, of Dover, Tennessee died on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Manor House of Dover.

Mrs. Russell was born in Murray, Kentucky on February 12, 1924 to the late Robert Kelsey Moody and Odie Champion Moody. Mrs. Russell was a member of the Maranantha Baptist Church in Dover, Tennessee. She was a homemaker and cook.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Russell was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Russell; one daughter, Elretta Sander; one son, Larry Russell; and by two brothers, Robert Marley Moody and James Moody.

Mrs. Russell is survived by one son, Gary Russell and wife Mary V. Russell of Dover, Tennessee; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 17, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Newberry and Rev. Robert Hargrove officiating. Burial will follow in the Standing Rock Methodist Cemetery in Dover, Tennessee at 12:00 p.m. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2014 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
