Mary Catherine Underhill

Mrs. Mary Catherine Underhill, age 83, of Dexter, Kentucky, died on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.
Mrs. Underhill was born in Trigg County Kentucky on July 3, 1929 to the late James T. Underhill and Anna (Whitman) Underhill. Mrs. Underhill worked at the Winslow Filter Company in Murray and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Underhill was preceded in death by her husband, Moscoe Underhill, who died on February 11, 2009; one daughter, Rachel Underhill; three sons, Roy Milton, Morris Wayne Underhill and Movon Ray Underhill; one sister, Doretta Scott; and by three brothers, Henry Underhill, Eugene Underhill and John Underhill.
Mrs. Underhill is survived by two daughters, Geraldine Baker and husband Dwain of Dexter, Kentucky and Melva Underhill of Dexter, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Keith Baker of Dexter, Kentucky, Gregg Baker of Dexter, Kentucky and Jonathan Baker and wife Regina of Symsonia, Kentucky, Denise Newsome and husband Nicholas of Dexter, Kentucky and Janette Dewitt and husband Jody of Murray, Kentucky; six great grandchildren, Gregory Baker, Jr., Nicholas and Aimee Newsome, Ryan Dewitt and Griffin and Gavin Baker.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Elijah Balentine officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in L.B.L. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 17, 2013 from 4:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
