Mrs. Mary Wall, age 96, of Murray, Kentucky, died Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at her home.
She was a homemaker; she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Murray serving as a Sunday School teacher for over 50 years; she was a member of the Calloway County Homemakers Club.
Mrs. Wall was born in Calloway County, Kentucky on September 4, 1918 to the late Wildy H. and Myrtle E. Hicks Cope. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, J.D Wall; one son, Dan H. Wall; one sister, Eris M. Carter.
She is survived by one son, David Wall and wife Shirley of Murray, Kentucky; one sister, Ann E. Wilson of Paducah, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Daniel Shane Wall and wife Deana of Elizabethtown, Kentucky and John Patrick Wall of Nashville, Tennessee; two great grandchildren; Joshua Daniel Wall and Sarah Abigail Wall; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held in the Murray City Cemetery at 2:00 pm Monday, December 22, 2014. Rev. Keith Inman will officiate. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am Monday, December 22, 2014 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
