Mr. Matthew Burke, age 54, of Louisville, Kentucky formerly of Murray, Kentucky died at Baptist Health in Lexington, Kentucky on Monday, November 21, 2016.
Matthew graduated Murray High School in 1980; he has participated in Community Theater and was a song writer and musician.
He was born in Bethel Connecticut on October 27, 1962.
Matthew is preceded in death by his father, Donald T. Burke.
He is survived by his mother, Theresa Burke of Murray, Kentucky; two sisters, Mary Christian and husband Nicholas of Troy, New York and Erin Smith and husband Brian of Murray, Kentucky; one brother, Jonathan Burke and wife Kelley of Hilton Head, South Carolina. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial services will be held 10:00 am Monday, November 28, 2016 in the chapel of the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Father Brandon Williams will officiate.
