Maud E. Donelson

Mrs. Maud E. Donelson, age 90, of Murray, Kentucky died Friday, March 24, 2017 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.

Mrs. Donelson was born in Calloway County, Kentucky on January 29, 1927 to the late Wes Y. Russell and Lillie Mae Rowland Russell. Mrs. Donelson was a homemaker and a member of the Russell's Chapel United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Donelson was preceded in death by her first husband, Winford James; her second husband, Clint Donelson; three daughters, Brenda Sue Smith, Linda Nell Culver and Mary Inez Johnson; one sister, Jimmie Russell; and three brothers, Nuet Russell, Henry Russell and Joe Russell.

Mrs. Donelson is survived by one son, Glen James and wife Maralyn of Antioch, Tennessee; one sister, Sue Stom of Murray, Kentucky; one brother, Wesley Russell; 16 grandchildren; as well as 38 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Burkeen officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service on Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
