Mr. Max Herndon, age 83, of Murray, Kentucky died on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House in Murray, Kentucky.
Mr. Herndon was born on April 25, 1939, in Calloway County, Kentucky to the late Ray Herndon and Bertha (Knight) Herndon. He retired from Ryan Milk Company in Murray, Kentucky and was a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Herndon; one son, Mark Allen "Moochie" Herndon; two sisters, Mary Wells and Eva Orr; as well as three brothers, Richard Herndon, James Herndon, and Bobby Herndon.
Survivors include one daughter-in-law, Shan Herndon of Murray, Kentucky.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with John Dale and Steven Hunter officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
