Maxine Cunningham Fields

    Mrs. Maxine Cunningham Fields, age 92, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at the Spring Creek Healthcare in Murray, Kentucky. 

    Mrs. Fields was born in Murray, Kentucky on March 14, 1931, to the late Rural Jones and Mildred (Biffle) Jones. Mrs. Fields was a homemaker and a member of the Memorial Baptist Church. 

    In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fields was preceded in death by her first husband, Alfred Cunningham; second husband, George Fields; one son, Allen Cunningham;  one daughter, Belinda Coughenour; and by one brother, RC Jones.

    Mrs. Fields is survived by two daughters, Sheila Cohoon and husband Teddy of Durango, Colorado and Debra Cunningham Siress of Paducah, Kentucky; one sister, Ruby Valentine of Phoenix, Arizona; four grandchildren, Chris Thomas of Murray, Kentucky, Vijay Cohoon and wife Tracey of Durango, Colorado, Sara Hedges and husband Jon of Paducah, Kentucky, and Shelby Siress of Paducah, Kentucky; as well as six great grandchildren, Tiffany Thomas of Hazel, Kentucky, Katelyn Cohoon of Wilmington, North Carolina, Wyatt Hedges, Carlee Jane Hedges, Mattias Siress and Ava Burns all of Paducah, Kentucky. 

    There will be no public services held at this time. A memorial service will be held at a later date. 

    The J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services are in charge of arrangements.
