Mayrelle Jones Clark

Mrs. Mayrelle Jones Clark, 94, of Easley, South Carolina formerly of Murray, died Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at the Foothills Presbyterian Home.
Mrs. Clark was born in Calloway County, KY on Nov. 21, 1916 to the late Thomas and Anna Pearl Erwin Jones. Mrs. Clark a retired school teacher who retired from the Franklin Park Public School District 84 in Franklin Park, Illinois. Mrs. Clark was a graduate of Lynn Grove High School as well as graduate of Murray State University. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Murray.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Clark; two brothers Carlos Jones and Alvis Jones; two sisters, Louise Miller and Ruth Caldwell; great grandson, Christopher Miles and a son-in-law, Richard Miles.
Mrs. Clark is survived by her son, Rodney A. Clark and wife Cindy of McFarland, Wisconsin; daughter, Carole Miles of Piedmont, SC; as well as five grandchildren, Valerie Muller, Richard Miles, Robert Miles, Meredith Clark and Dana Clark; two great grandchildren, Nathan Muller and Rick Fry.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Stahler and Rev. Bob Saywell officiating. Burial to follow in the South Pleasant Grove. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. (noon) until funeral hour on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at the funeral home.
