Meredith Lynn Cooper

Mrs. Meredith Lynn Cooper, age 52, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at her home.

Meredith was born on December 15, 1972, in Jackson, Tennessee, to the late Cecil W. Clayton and Judy Plunkett Clayton. She was a 1990 graduate of Calloway County High School, and was employed with Fisher-Price, Apple Tree and Pockets. She was also of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one nephew, Robbie Clayton.

Survivors include one daughter, Kasi Ann Clayton and Jessie Henson of Benton, Kentucky; two brothers, Mike Clayton and wife Anna of Murray, Kentucky and Cecil Clayton Sr. and wife Stephanie of Almo, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Avah Lynn Davenport, Emma Renaee Davenport and Warren Thomas Wayne Henson; two uncles, David Plunkett and wife Ngoc of Murray, Kentucky and Tim Plunkett and wife Donna of Dyer, Tennessee; three nieces, Tiffany Harris and husband Matt , Kristen Clayton and Fiancé Austin Miles and Alexus Clayton all of Murray, Kentucky; nephew, Cecil Clayton Jr. of Almo, Kentucky; also great nieces and nephews and her fur baby Somona.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Bro. David Little will officiate, and burial will follow in the Garfield Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m., Friday, April 4, 2025, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
