Mr. Michael K. Wendling, age 81, of Almo, Kentucky, died on Friday, March 22, 2019, at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House.
Mr. Wendling was born on March 14, 1938, in Hagertown, Maryland to the late Elouis William Wendling and Trula Goans Wendling. He was retired with the Western Railroad Association as a Tariff Publishing Officer for over 34 years and was an Army Veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Wendling of Almo, Kentucky, to whom he married on May 6, 1961, in Chicago, Illinois; three sons, David M. Wendling of Racine, Wisconsin, Keith W. Wendling of Murray, Kentucky, and Christopher R. Wendling of Murray, Kentucky; three sisters, Mary Ann Beize of Chicago, Illinois and Pat Ragont of Chicago, Illinois; two brothers, William Wendling of Chicago, Illinois and David Wendling of Chicago, Illinois; five grandchildren, Destiny Lyn Van Metre, Matthew Wendling, Benjamin Wendling, Nicholas Wendling, and Lillian Wendling; as well as two great-grandchildren, Grayson Van Metre and Alexander Nicholas Van Metre.
Private family services will be held.
