Mildred P. Bell

Mrs. Mildred P. Bell, 100, of Murray, KY, died Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Emeritus Assisted Living in Murray.
Mrs. Bell and her husband owned and operated Bell's Grocery on Eighth Street in Murray. She was a member of the Eastern Star Chapter 433 for over 60 years and was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Born March 2, 1914, in Graves County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late James Page and Laura Cochran Page. She married her late husband Thomas Bell on October 29, 1932 in Metropolis, Illinois.
In addition to her parents and husband Mrs. Bell was preceded in death by her sister, Hilda Page Lavender; and her nephews, Jerry Don Lavender and Charles Bell.
Survivors include two nephews Don Bell of Louisville, KY and Gary Bell of Orange County, CA; as well as a great nephew, Mark A. Lavender of Evanston, IL.
Services will be held on Monday, May 19, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Sammy Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray City Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the J.H. Churchill Home from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 18, 2014.
