Mildred M. Copeland

Mrs. Mildred M. Copeland, age 82, of Almo Kentucky, died Friday, November 19, 2010 at 2:15 am at her home. Mrs. Copeland was born in Marshall Co., KY on March 30, 1928 to the late Euclid Lyles and Lora Starks Lyles. Mrs. Copeland before retiring worked at the Fern Terrace Lodge in Murray and had previously worked as a waitress. Mrs. Copeland was a member of the Owens Chapel Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Copeland was preceded in death by her first husband, Grover Ford, second husband, Paul Thomas Copeland, and one brother, Tom Lyles.
Mrs. Copeland is survived by one daughter, Suzanne Gibson and husband Roger of Almo, KY, two step daughters, Paula Sharber of Murray, KY and Elizabeth Miller of Mayfield, KY three sons, Ronnie Ford and wife Ester of Benton ,KY, Gary Ford and wife Anita of Benton ,KY, and Harold Ford and wife Mary of Smithland, KY, one step son, Tommy Copeland of Indiana, three sisters, Margaret Grogan of Hardin ,KY, Murrell Duboise of Barton, Alabama, and Maxine Darnall of Benton ,KY, eleven grandchildren, eight step grandchildren and ten great grandchildren survive as well as several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Edwards Cemetery in Marshall Co., KY at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. James Stom and Bro. Glenn Cope officiating. Burial to follow. There will be no public visitation.
