Mrs. Mildred I. Musser, age 77, of New Concord, Kentucky died on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 3:55 a.m. in the Murray Calloway County Hospital.
She was born in Houston County, Tennessee, on October 19, 1937. She was a beloved wife and mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was married to Howard Musser for 56 years prior to his death in 2011. She traveled the world for 20 years as a military wife while Howard served in the Army. She also served many years as a Sunday School Teacher and Bible School Teacher at Blood River Baptist Church. She was an amazing cook, loved country music and gardening, crocheting and quilting, but most of all, loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Musser and his wife Angie of Paducah, Wade Musser and his wife Lois of New Concord, one daughter Kathy Musser, of Paducah, grandsons Lee and Logan, and granddaughters Gabrielle and Rebecca, step grandsons, Chris, Jon, Brad and Matt, along with seven great grandchildren.
She is also survived by seven sisters Tootsie, Josephine, Margaret, Mary, Gail, Fay and Brenda and three brothers, Donald, Roy, and Robert.
She was preceded in death by her parents Archie and Lillian Weaver, her husband Howard Musser, her brother William Weaver and her grandson Daniel Musser.
Graveside services will be held Friday, April 24, 2015 at 2:30 pm at New Concord Cemetery, with Rev. Roy Weaver officiating. Visitation will be held Friday April 24, 2015 from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
