Milton Oakley Freeman

Mr. Milton Oakley Freeman, age 73, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2024, at the Baptist Health Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky. 

          Mr. Freeman was born in Calloway County, Kentucky on November 30, 1950, to the late Ernest Taylor Freeman and Lareva Henson Freeman. He worked at Fisher-Price Mattel and retired from Briggs & Stratton. Mr. Freeman was a member of the Northside Baptist Church. 

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Cindy Stroup; two sisters, Sue Byassee and Mary Crouse; as well as one brother, Edwin Freeman.

Survivors include his wife, Shelby Lorson Freeman of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Brian Freeman of Hardin, Kentucky; one sister, Irene Loe and husband Eugene of Dexter, Kentucky; one brother, Gerald Freeman and wife Jerie of Brewers, Kentucky; as well as seven grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with burial following in the Union Ridge Cemetery in Aurora, Kentucky. Bro. Brett Miles will officiate. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
