Mrs. Minda Jane Scarbrough, age 68, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2026, at her home on her actual birthday.

Mrs. Scarbrough was born on September 5, 1958, in Murray, Kentucky to the late Orlan Hurt and Patricia Sue (Bonner) Hurt. She retired from D&D Shoe Co. after 29 years where she was serving as the Logistics Manager.

Survivors include her husband, Bo Scarbrough of Murray, Kentucky; one daughter, Clista Judith Scarbrough of Nashville, Tennessee; four sons, Shawn T. Buchanan of Paducah, Kentucky, Carlis J. Buchanan and significant other Nikki Choppi of Aurora, Kentucky, Joshua James Scarbrough and significant other Samantha Clark of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Emery Levi Scarbrough and wife Ashley of Murray, Kentucky; one sister, Glenda Sue Johnson Hurt of Hazel, Kentucky; 7 grandchildren, Kman T. Buchanan, William James McCoil, Callie Rae Buchanan, Ava Scarbrough, Mya Scarbrough, Kaci Tinsley, and Samantha Tinsley; one niece, Jada Johnson Moore and husband John Moore; three great nieces, Amber Wilkinson and husband Shawn, Courtney Lancaster and husband Ransom, and Trinity Owen; as well as one great nephew, Harris Moore.
