Mr. Dan Glover, age 80, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Brookdale Assisted Living in Murray.

Mr. Glover was born on February 19, 1946, in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, to the late Rev. William Edward Glover and Maple Tackwell Glover. Dan was a 1964 graduate of Murray High School and a 1969 graduate of Murray State University. He started his work career in retail sales for the West Bend Company, then worked for the Board of Public Instruction of Dade County, Florida teaching Industrial Arts. He then moved to Noble, Illinois to teach Industrial Arts at Noble High School. Dan returned to Murray in 1977 and went to work for Edwin Cain Construction and then went to work for Alucobond “Alcan Composites’’ in Benton, Kentucky and retired after 33 years of service. He was a member of the Wingo Old Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Wingo, Kentucky.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Kathryn Kyle Glover; stepsister, Sondra Kyle; aunt, Sarah “Aunt Sa” Smith; uncles, Dudley Smith and IC Glover.

Survivors include his daughter, Sabrina Danielle Klotz and her husband Jason of Murray, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Emma Kaylin Haynes and Caleb James Haynes; six step grandchildren, Jordan and wife Lilee, Camden, Ethan, Gavin, Griffin, and Mercy Klotz; step sister, Kathy Kyle Wade of Murray; two cousins, Ann Yates and husband, Jerry, of Princeton, Kentucky and Kathy Campbell and husband, Tony, of Calvert City, Kentucky and their families.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, June 11, 2026, at the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Princeton, Kentucky with Bro. Ralph Austin officiating. No public visitation will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial donations in honor of Dan Glover to Wingo Old Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 334 Lebanon St, in Wingo, KY 42088.
