Mr. Herbert William Comstock

Mr. Herbert William Comstock, age 83, of Murray, Kentucky passed away on Friday, September 18, 2026, at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House.

Mr. Comstock was born on January 21, 1943, in Rockford, Illinois to the late Herbert Isaac Comstock and Edna Mae (McConnell) Comstock. He retired as an assembler for Sundstrand Corporation and was a United States Army Veteran having served in the Korean War.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Ann (DeMus) Comstock; as well as one son-in-law, Kurt Trotter.

Survivors include three daughters, Debbie Trotter of Murray, Kentucky, Wendy Rebelak and husband Gary, Jr. of Lebanon, Tennessee, and Tammy Hobson and husband Mike of Freeport, Illinois; one sister, Maryln Gustafson of Rockford, Illinois; one brother-in-law, Ronald L. Gustafson of Rockford, Illinois; two nephews, Ronald and Matthew Gustafson both of Rockford, Illinois; nine grandchildren, Austin Trotter, Adam Trotter, Cassie VonHolten, Dylan Rebelak, Justin Rebelak, Joshua Rebelak, Courtney Oehlke, Brandon Oehlke, and Ashley Rousseau; as well as 12 great-grandchildren.

There will be no public services or visitation scheduled at this time.
