Mr. Hubert Larry Suiter

Mr. Hubert Larry Suiter, age 87, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2026, at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House in Murray, Kentucky.

Larry was born on February 14, 1939, in Hardin, Kentucky, to the late Elroy and Melba (Starks) Suiter. He retired as a lake property land developer. Larry enjoyed quail, turkey, and deer hunting and UK Basketball. He loved his family, and was especially proud of each of his daughters and every one of his grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved having everyone together. Larry was a member of the Elm Grove Baptist Church since 1958.

Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Wanda Thomas Suiter; two daughters, Belinda Taylor (Joe Dan) of Almo, Kentucky and Teresa Rose (Todd) of Puryear, Tennessee; three sisters, Janice McClard (Terry), Debbie Gallagher (John), and Lisa Starks all of Murray, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Andrew Taylor, Travis Taylor (Kelly), Kara Taylor, Brooke Rose (Bryce DaCamara), Savannah Rose, Emily Fulkerson (Spencer), and Pierce Rose; four great grandchildren, Cooper Burkeen, Hannah Jo Burkeen, Hubert Fulkerson, and Caroline Fulkerson; four sisters-in-law, Jeannete Suiter, Betty Haley, Judy Madura, and Shirley Thomas; as well as one special nurse, Tonia Kelley, and the staff at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House.

He was preceded in death by his parents; in laws, Mason and Nerene Thomas; three brothers, Gearl Suiter, Joe Suiter, and Eddie Suiter; as well as three brothers-in-law, Ricky Starks, Jimmy Haley, and Jack Madura.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday September 11, 2026, at the Elm Grove Cemetery with Bro. Brett Miles officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Friday September 11, 2026, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
