Mr. James A. Fielder

Mr. James A. Fielder, age 99, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2026, at Spring Creek Healthcare in Murray, Kentucky.

Mr. Fielder was born on October 8, 1926, in Calloway County, Kentucky, to the late Willis and Beula Steele Fielder. He retired from Boone’s Cleaners and was a member of the Green Plain Church of Christ. He was also an Army Veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Jean Fielder; daughter, Peggy Adkins; son, James Michael Fielder; two sisters, Nerene Thomas and Buna Sue Fielder; brother, Orvis Fielder; daughter in law, Beth Fielder; son in law, Buck Thomasson.

Survivors include one daughter, Christie Thomasson of Paducah, Kentucky; son, Kevin Alan Fielder of Murray, Kentucky; eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and many great great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at the Green Plain Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m., Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
