Mrs. Cloia L. "Nanny" Campbell

Mrs. Cloia L. “Nanny” Campbell, age 98, of Murray, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House in Murray, Kentucky.

Mrs. Cambell was born on August 17, 1928, in Island, Kentucky to the late Mark Howard and Ollie (Watkins) Howard. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Murray, Kentucky.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Campbell; one son, Bobby Campbell; as well as three sisters and four brothers.

Survivors include one daughter, Susan Underwood and husband Sam of Murray, Kentucky and daughter in law, Brenda Campbell of Norwood, North Carolina; one son, Larry Campbell and wife Patty of Crestwood, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Chip Campbell and wife Linda of Norwood, North Carolina, Christi Brown and husband Bryan of Imperial, Missouri, Jake Campbell and wife Kim of LaGrange, Kentucky, Michelle Slack and husband Jamie of Murray, Kentucky, and Megan Schmitt and husband Anthony of Murray, Kentucky; as well as 11 great-grandchildren, Adison Morton and husband Kolby, Emma Campbell, Colby Brown, Gabe Brown, Tripp Campbell, Carson Campbell, Keyton Hendrickson, Khloe Hendrickson, Ava Schmitt, Tyler Schmitt, and Brooklyn Slack.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 23, 2026, at the Barnett Cemetery with Bro. Boyd Smith officiating. There will be no public visitation held prior to the graveside service.
