Mrs. Evelyn Butterworth

Mrs. Evelyn Butterworth, age 85, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away Friday, July 31, 2026, at Passion and Purpose.

Mrs. Butterworth was born on February 24, 1941, in Calloway County, Kentucky, to the late Henry and Marie Giles Oglesby. Evelyn was retired from Mattel and Briggs and Stratton, and was a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pat Butterworth; grandson, Joey Butterworth Jr.; also 15 half-brother and sisters.

Survivors include one son, Mike Randolph and wife Paula of Murray, Kentucky; two stepsons, Joey Butterworth and Wife Nina of Murray, Kentucky, and Jeff Butterworth of Murray, Kentucky; two stepdaughters, Melissa Jones and husband Trent of Murray, Kentucky and Melinda Starks and husband Kris of Murray, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Chance Randolph, Jordyn Randolph Wells, Ashley Smith, Meagan Starks, Dillon Starks, Lake Butterworth and Olivia Butterworth; also great grandchildren.

Private family services will be held, with a burial in the Coldwater Church of Christ Cemetery.
