Mrs. Kate Eldridge, age 99, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2025, at Maple Cottage in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
Mrs. Eldridge was born on August 12, 1925, in Calloway County, Kentucky, to the late Elbert Houston and Jetta Galloway Houston. She was a homemaker and a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ and a former member of the Murray Homemakers club.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Leroy Eldridge; two brothers, Harold Houston and Thomas Houston.
Survivors include one daughter, Deborah Adams and husband Edd of Hendersonville, Tennessee: one son, Charles E. Eldridge and wife Nancy of Andalusia, Alabama; six grandchildren, Jonathan Eldridge, Paul Adams, Billy Bergfield, Charles T. Eldridge, Michael Eldridge and Lauren Williams; also, twelve great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the Murray Memorial Gardens with Charles Thomas Eldridge officiating with entombment to follow. No public visitation will be held.
