Mrs. Nellie Rogers

Mrs. Nellie Temple Rogers, age 86, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away Monday, April 20, 2026, at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray, Kentucky.

Temple was born on March 11, 1940, in Edmonson County, Kentucky, to the late Charlie and Nola Blair Gipson. She was also preceded in death by a great-grandchild Cameron Thomas.

She worked for many years as an experienced waitress and restaurant manager and later retired from Hawaiian Tropic.

Survivors include three sons, Marc Rogers and wife Gena of Murray, Kentucky, Eric Rogers and wife Christina of Murray, Kentucky and Barry Rogers of Murray, Kentucky; one daughter, Shelly Hirsch and husband Steven of Shelbyville, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Craig Rogers, Autumn Rogers, Erica Rogers and Samantha Hirsch, and four great grandchildren.
