Mrs. Reba C. Orr

           Mrs. Reba C. Orr, age 96, of Hazel, Kentucky, passed away, Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at her home.

          Mrs. Orr was born on July 5, 1927, in Newcomb, Tennessee to the late William B. Cordell and Laura (Hicks) Cordell. She worked as a factory worker for Federal-Mogul and was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. 

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Noble L. Orr; two sisters, Flosie Singleton and Athene Stoder; as well as two brothers, Cecil Cordell and Truman Cordell. 

          Survivors include one daughter, Jacklyn Smith and husband Jason of Hazel, Kentucky; one son, Mance Singleton and wife Maxine of Roseville, Michigan; two sisters, Lola Douglas and husband Mitt of Belleville, Michigan and Wanda Cordell of Hazel, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Roger Singleton and wife Tammy of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Isaiah Smith, Eli Smith, Seth Smith, and Silas Smith all of Hazel, Kentucky; two great grandchildren, Kaela Milbury and husband Mike and Chase Singleton all of Caledonia, Michigan; as well as two great great grandchildren, Mara and Morgan Milbury both of Caledonia, Michigan. 

          A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Bro. Jordan Roach and Bro. Mike Lineberry will officiate, and burial will follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 20, 2024, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
