Ms. Joyce Eileen Sliger

Ms. Joyce Eileen Sliger, age 74, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House in Murray, Kentucky.

Ms. Sliger was born on September 18, 1951, in Charleston, Illinois to the late Lewis Burton Warner and Betty Lou (Johnson) Warner. She was the owner/operator of Frame Village and was a member of the Dexter Hardin United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by one niece, Mitzie Warner.

Survivors include one daughter, Rebecca Geurin and husband Robert of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Jodi Brooks and wife Mandy of Murray, Kentucky; one brother, Lewis Lynn Waner and wife Millie of Huffman, Texas; three grandchildren, Kaylee (Geurin) Dunham and husband Wyatt, Caden Brooks (Charlie), and Colton Brooks; as well as one nephew, Jason Warner.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 30, 2026, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Richard Burkeen officiating. Burial will follow in the Ferguson Springs Cemetery in Aurora, Kentucky. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 30, 2026, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
