Ms. Judy Kelso

Ms. Judy Faye Kelso, age 75, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Passion and Purpose.

Ms. Kelso was born on October 26, 1950, in Murray, Kentucky to the late Glen Scherffius Kelso and Faye Nell (Craig) Kelso. Judy was a 1968 graduate of Calloway County High School and a 1972 graduate of Murray State University. She was a retired schoolteacher with the Fulton County, Kentucky school system and was a member of the Lynn Grove United Methodist Church and attended South Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. Ms. Kelso was a member of the Murray Woman’s Club, Garden department and served as president from 2014-2016. She was an avid supporter and volunteer with 4H.

Survivors include two sisters, Janey Reynolds and husband Greg of Murray, Kentucky and Joy Doron and husband Carl of Murray, Kentucky; one brother, Johnny Kelso and wife Sharon of Murray, Kentucky; as well as several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 13, 2026, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services. John Dale will officiate and burial will follow in the Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m., Sunday, July 12, 2026, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
