Mrs. Murlene Crouch, age 87, of Martin, Tennessee, formerly of Murray, Kentucky, died on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at Diversicare of Martin, Tennessee.
Mrs. Crouch was born on December 28, 1931, in Calloway, County, Kentucky to the late Clannon Gamble and Izella Green Gamble. She was a homemaker and a member of the Coldwater Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Max Crouch; one son, Sherwin Crouch; son-in-law, Gary Ray; one great-grandson, Brady Ray; three sisters, Thelma Rose, Margie Myers, and Ruby Gamble; as well as one brother, Edmond Gamble.
Survivors include two daughters, Trecia Ray of Murray, Kentucky and Gidget Manning and husband Michael of Murray, Kentucky; two sisters, Donna Wheatley of Almo, Kentucky and Eva Siress of Benton, Kentucky; three brothers, Kenneth Gamble of Benton, Kentucky, Paul Gamble of Benton, Kentucky, and Lee Roy Gamble of Benton, Kentucky; eight grandchildren, Bradford Ray, Brock Ray, Brinden Ray, Ben Ray, Marcus Manning, Nick Manning, Danny Crouch, and Jared Crouch; as well as 8 great-grandchildren, Taylor Crouch, Tanner Crouch, Kimmie Crouch, Max Ray, Mason Ray, Caitlynn Ray, Audrey Ray, and Chandler Crouch.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, March 11, 2019, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Palmer officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., on Sunday, March 10, 2019, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
