Myles D. Barnett

              Mr. Myles D. Barnett, age 57, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023, at the Murray Calloway County Hospital after an extended illness.

            Mr. Barnett was born in Murray, Kentucky, on March 3, 1966. Before becoming ill, he was a cab driver and was employed by Mamma Nancy’s and Bri’z taxicab services. He was an avid University of Kentucky Wildcat fan and enjoyed watching Nascar and horse racing.

            Mr. Barnett was preceded in death by his father, John H. Barnett; and by two brothers, John Mark Barnett and Robert Blake Kelley.

            He is survived by his mother, Joyce (Todd) Stilwell of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Dustin Barnett and wife Shannon of Bowling Green, Kentucky; one sister, Lisa Smith and husband Chris of Sharon, Tennessee; three brothers, Michael Barnett and wife Theresa of Murray, Kentucky, Jimmy Kelley and wife Tina of Lynn Haven, Florida, and Jayson Kelley and wife Dana of Lexington, Kentucky; one grandchild, Gabby Barnett of Bowling Green, Kentucky; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

            A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Visitation will be held prior to the memorial service on Thursday, January 4, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
