Myrtle June Mitchell

Mrs. Myrtle June Mitchell, age 86 of Murray, Kentucky died Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at her home.

Mrs. Mitchell was born in Bay City, Michigan to the late Chizzie Lovell and Charlotte (Riley) Lovell. Mrs. Mitchell was a homemaker and was of the Southern Baptist Faith.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by her husband, R.B. Mitchell, who died on May 3, 2010; and by two brothers.

Mrs. Mitchell is survived by one daughter, Jackie Edwards and husband Ricky; two sons, Rocky Mitchell and Guy Mitchell and wife Sherry; and three grandchildren, Brittain, Bryceton and Cassity Mitchell all of Murray, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Stahler officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
