Naketa Edwards

Mrs. Naketa Edwards, age 79, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024, at the Mills Nursing and Rehab in Mayfield, Kentucky. 

Mrs. Edwards was born on March 18, 1945, in Murray, Kentucky to the late RL Ellison and Mary Ann (Carter) Douglas. She worked at Sager Glove Factory and Save A Lot before her retirement. Mrs. Edwards was of the Church of Christ Faith. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Richie Reeder; two stepfathers, Joe Ed Seaver and Dick Douglas.

Survivors include one son, Taft Reeder and wife Martha of Murray, Kentucky; daughter in law, Gina Reeder of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; brother, Dickie Joe Seavers of Murray, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Mitchell Reeder and wife Megan of Lynn Grove, Kentucky, Zach Reeder and wife Jenn of Mayfield, Kentucky; five great-grandchildren, Joey, Brody both of Lynn Grove, Kentucky, Broc, Chandler and Axyl all of Mayfield, Kentucky. 

No public services will be held at this time.
