Nancy Buchanan

Mrs. Nancy Buchanan age 60, of Murray, Kentucky, died Friday, July 4, 2014 at the Murray Calloway Co. Hospital.
Mrs. Buchanan was born on September 14, 1953 in Webb City MO. to the late Carl and Viola Miller Powell. She was a former employee of Fisher-Price/Mattel and currently worked for the Woodmen of the World for the past ten years. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one son, Kenny Buchanan.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Buchanan, to whom she was married on April 9, 1971 in Rockford, IL. Also surviving is one daughter, Christina "Cookie" Mathis and husband Randy of Aurora, KY., one son, Scott Buchanan and wife Brooke of Georgetown, KY., one sister, Anna Stewart and husband David of Paducah, KY., one brother, Carl N. Powell and wife Cindie of Grove, OK, and six grandchildren, Darran McCallister, Tristan McCallister, Kenan Buchanan, Kara Buchanan, Caitlyn Buchanan, and Lauren Buchanan
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 10a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home, with Rev. Brett Miles officiating. Burial will follow in the Coldwater Church of Christ Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday, July 7, 2014 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral home from 5-9p.m.
