Nancy Eva McClure

Mrs. Nancy Eva McClure, age 85, of Hazel, Kentucky, died Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Benchmark Healthcare in Puryear, Tennessee.

Mrs. McClure was born in Calloway County, Kentucky on September 15, 1929 to the late Ruby Fenton Mohundro and Dell Finnye (Workman) Mohundro. Mrs. McClure retired from the Murray Calloway Co. Hospital as a L.P.N. after a career of 50 years of nursing. She was a member of the Hazel Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents Mrs. McClure was preceded in death by her husband, James Hoyt McClure; one son, Lloyd Allen McClure; and two brothers, Lloyd J. Mohundro and Gene Dale Mohundro.

Mrs. McClure is survived by a step son, James Max McClure and wife Ruth Ann of Murray, Kentucky; one niece, Vickie Mohundro Bradley and husband Tim of Cape Coral, Florida; two nephews, Larry Mohundro and wife Mary of Bloomington, Illinois and Doug Mohundro and wife Kate of Joliet, Illinois; three step grandchildren, Kim Rutherford of Paris, Tennessee, Debbie Belva and husband Mark of Murray, Kentucky and Terri Blackman and husband Dwain of Paducah, Kentucky; three step great grandchildren, Brain Belva, Aubrey Brokshire and husband Jake and Erin Parks and husband Trent; special friends, Carla White of Hazel, Kentucky, Linda Harding of Murray, Kentucky and Dr. Conrad Jones of Murray, Kentucky; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Bro. Brett Miles officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2015 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
