Mrs. Nancy Williams age 73 of Paris, Tennessee, formerly of Murray, Kentucky, died Thursday December 14, 2017 at Paris Healthcare Rehab Center. Mrs. Williams was born September 8, 1944 in Ashville, North Carolina, to the late William Swann and Laura Thomas Swann.
Mrs. Williams was a homemaker, and member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ. Nancy loved art, reading, sewing and singing. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and was happiest when caring for others and was a true example of Christian love.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Marsha Williams, Betty Mohebbi; brother, Ricky Swann
Survivors include her husband, Charles Williams of Paris, Tennessee, they married on January 21, 1963; four daughters, Julie Williams of Murray, Kentucky, Laura (Robinson) Drummond of Murray, Kentucky, Melanie Holloway of Nashville, Tennessee, Rachel Davis of Paris, Tennessee; son, Daniel Williams of Taiwan; two sisters, Shelia Rose Swann Guerrero of Chicago, Illinois, Carol Swann Bancef of Chicago, Illinois; brother, William Swann of Maryland; eight grandchildren, Lukas Wellenstein, Olivia Copeland, Makayla Robinson, Ian Drummond, Payton Patrick Holloway, Persais Holloway, Eric Davis, Luke Davis; six great grandchildren, Audrey Copeland, Claire Copeland, Hannah Copeland, Reece Copeland, Evan Wellenstein, Liam Wellenstein.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 17, 2017 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. John Dale will officiate, and burial will follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. till 2 p.m., Sunday, December 17, 2017 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
