Noble Lee Orr

Mr. Noble Lee Orr, age 87, of Hazel, KY, died Friday, March 11, 2011 at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray, KY. He was born July 15, 1923, in Henry County, TN, to the late Evertte and Myrtle Paschall Orr. He was retired from General Motors in Detroit, Michigan in the department of plant protection. Prior to his employment with General Motors, Mr. Orr worked for Federal Mogul Incorporation for 31 years also in Detroit, Michigan. He was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Mr. Orr was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Gregory; brothers, J.W. Orr and Henry Orr; and niece Linda Paris.
Mr. Orr is survived by his wife, Reba Cordell Orr of Hazel, KY, married in Detroit ,Michigan on March 26, 1964; son Mance (Maxine) Singleton of Roseville, Michigan; grandchildren, Jackie Cordell of Hazel, KY, and Roger Singleton of Grand Rapids Michigan; great-grandchildren, Kayla Singleton and Chase Singleton both of Grand Rapids, Michigan; nephew, Larry Orr of Hominy, Oklahoma; nieces, Edie Eisemann of Bellville, Michigan, Peggy Orr of Bellville, Michigan, and Brenda Henderson of Hazel, KY; also several great-nieces and nephews survive.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Bro. Paul Veazey and Bro. William Beasley will officiate. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, March 14, 2011 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
