Norma E. Russell passed away on November 06, 2013. She resided in Turlock, California since moving from her birth place, Claremore, Oklahoma with her parents as a young girl. She met and married her late husband, Henry F. Russell when he was a WW II soldier stationed in Turlock, California, where they made their home. She loved spending time with her family, working in her garden with her beloved little dog Chuckie by her side, and continued taking summer vacations where she and her late husband summered in his home town of Murray, Kentucky. She is survived by her two daughters Carol J. Spurgin, of Missouri, and Barbara Gray and her husband Byron. Three grandchildren Kenny G. Story, Sr., Kimberly Shackleford and her husband Dave, and Renee' McCormick. Nine great grandchildren, Kenny Story Jr., Kyle Story, Kelsey Story, Kaylin Story, Shelby Lobue and her husband Jesse, and Brenna, Mardee, Ivy and Jade Shackleford. Two great-great grandchildren Anthony Story and Riley Lobue. Her sister Velma Wall and a brother Earl Casey, all of California. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry F. Russell, a grandson Kelly R. Story and parents John M. and Beulah M. Casey. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all of her family and friends who loved and knew her. There will be visitation and a remembrance signing book on Friday November 15, 2013, from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm, at the Turlock Funeral Home, Turlock, California . She will then be flown to Murray,Kentucky to be laid to rest after a grave side service on Wednesday at 1:00 pm, November 20, 2013, at the Fossett Cemetery, Murray, Kentucky beside her beloved late husband Henry F. Russell, who passed away February 03, 2009.
