Mrs. Norma Jean Wallis, age 89, of Murray, Kentucky, died on Friday, March 20, 2020, at her home.
Mrs. Wallis was born on June 13, 1930, in Van Wert, Ohio to the late Horace R. Green and Pernie Clayton Green. She was a homemaker, a member of the First Baptist Church in Murray, Kentucky, and a member of the Phoebian Sunday School Class.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Earl Wallis; and one son, John Wallis.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas Gary Wallis of Murray, Kentucky and Allen J. Wallis and wife Debbie of Bixby, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Mitch Wallis and wife Amy of Lafayette, Colorado, Kellie Kohstall and husband Chuck of Midlothian, Virginia, Eryn Wallis of Bixby, Oklahoma, and Bethany Wallis of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; as well as five great-grandchildren, Thomas and Wiley Wallis of Lafayette, Colorado and Emma, Isabel, and Lexi Kohstall of Midlothian, Virginia.
Due to the current events surrounding the viral pandemic of the Coronavirus the Wallis family will have a private visitation and graveside service to respect the government guidelines. A memorial service will be planned at a later date for all family and friends to attend.
