Ola Parrish

Mrs. Ola Parrish, age 65, of New Concord, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at 8:30 p.m. at the Murray Calloway Co. Hospital. Mrs. Parrish was born in Murray, KY on February 9, 1945 to the late Granvel and Verna Todd Montgomery. Mrs. Parrish was a housewife and a member of the Blood River Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Parrish was preceded in death by her husband, James Parrish; son, Patrick Parrish; and brother, Jerry Montgomery.
Mrs. Parrish is survived by step daughter, Judy Wagers of Kentucky; step son, Jimmy Darrell Parrish of Florida; grandchild, Jeffery Parrish; sister, Janice Congdon of Tennessee, nieces, Chaneal Nix of Georgia, and Renee Montgomery of Kentucky; and nephews, Michael Simpson of Tennessee, Jerry Lynn Montgomery, Randy Montgomery, and Michael Montgomery, all of Kentucky.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, August, 22, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the McCuiston Cemetery with Rev. Sammy Cunningham officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Sunday, August 22, 2010 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Burial will follow services at the McCuiston Cemetery.
