Otis Arlton Brown

Mr. Otis Arlton Brown, age 71, of Hazel, Kentucky died at his home on Sunday, September 07, 2014.
Mr. Brown was born in Murray, Kentucky on July 29, 1943 to the late Hassell Brown and Estelle (Ferguson) Brown. Mr. Brown was a retired farmer and construction worker and he was a member of the New Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents Mr. Brown was preceded in death by one sister, Ina Sledd and by one brother, Hafford Brown.
He is survived by his wife, Moyce Marie Brown of Hazel, Kentucky, to whom he married on December 21, 1963 in Murray, Kentucky; one daughter, Emeline Ray and husband Mitch of Murray, Kentucky; two sons, William Brown and wife Kristy of Hazel, Kentucky and David Brown of Murray, Kentucky; one sister, Eureda Huser of Troy, Illinois; three grandchildren, Katrina Brown of Hazel, Kentucky, Cody Lee of Murray, Kentucky and Logan Smith of Murray, Kentucky; two great grandchildren, Prudence Franklin of Murray, Kentucky and Keegan Parker of Dexter, Kentucky; as well as one brother-in-law, Henry Sledd of Murray, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Sammy Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow in the Paschall Cemetery in Puryear, Tennessee. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
