Otiste Blair Thompson

Mr. Otiste Blair Thompson age 89, of Murray, Kentucky, died Wednesday, August 01, 2012 at his home.
Mr. Thompson was born in Calloway County, Kentucky on October 26, 1922 to the late Alvie Thompson and Hilan Shackelford Thompson. Mr. Thompson was a retired house painter and an Army veteran of WW II.
In addition to his parents Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by one brother, Loyd Thompson.
Mr. Thompson is survived by his wife, Glendora Chilcutt Thompson, to whom he married in October 1950 in Chicago, Illinois; one sister, Frances Kelso of Murray, Kentucky; three sisters in law, Zona Durst and husband Don of Murray, Kentucky, Janice Vaughn of Murray, Kentucky and Mary Frances Thompson of Murray, Kentucky; one brother in law, Keith Chilcutt and wife Carolyn of Paris, Tennessee; one niece, Luna Greer and husband Kenneth of Murray, Kentucky; and one great niece, Amanda Young and husband Chad of Almo, Kentucky.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 3, 2012 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. No services are scheduled. Burial will follow at a later date in the Murray City Cemetery.
