Patricia Rice

Ms. Patricia Triplett Buckner Rice, 67, of Murray, Kentucky died Thursday, January 24, 2013 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.

She was born May 19, 1945 in Herrin, Illinois to the late James and Susie Stacey Triplett. She was a homemaker and a member of the Grace Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Andrea Buckner Fassiotto and husband James of Murray, Kentucky; four sisters, Lillie Foster, Joyce South, Betty Cutrel and Margaret Crawford; three grandchildren, Daniel Dunn of Murray, Brook Thornton of Paducah, Kentucky and Brice Evans of West Frankfort, Illinois; three great grandchildren, Kenya and Davion Beasley and Wyatt Dunn. Patricia was blessed with many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents Ms. Rice was preceded in death by a daughter, Kelly Buckner Mathis; three sisters, Pauline Barnes, Beatrice Morris, and Delores Triplett; four brothers, Charles Ray Triplett, Arthur Triplett, Jimmy Triplett, and Laverne Triplett.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m., Monday, January 28, 2013 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Sammy Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 28, 2013 from 1-3 p.m. also at the funeral home.
