Patrick Joel Roy

Mr. Patrick Joel Roy, age 82, of Murray, Kentucky, died on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at the Clinton Place in Clinton, Kentucky.

Mr. Roy was born on January 18, 1940, in Detroit, Michigan to the late Estella (Affeldt) Roy and Patrick Roy. He was a self-employed carpenter, Navy Veteran, and was of the Christian Faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Eric Roy.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Bell (Nix) Roy of Murray, Kentucky; they married on September 25, 1965, in Troy, Michigan; two sons, Joel Roy and wife Susie of Gregory, Michigan and Robert Roy of Brighton, Michigan; one step-daughter, Lisa Firth of Wixmon, Michigan; one step-son, Mark Carter and wife Molli of Berkley, Michigan; four sisters, Sue Vernick of Lafollette, Tennessee, Mary Griffin of Richmond, Michigan, Ruth Ufford of Westland, Michigan, and Linda Schmidt of Lansing, Michigan; two brothers, Fred Roy of Royal Oak, Michigan and Gary Roy of Brighton, Michigan; as well as eight grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

There will be no public services or visitation held at this time.
