Paul Edward Murphy

Mr. Paul Edward Murphy, age 79, of Murray, Kentucky died Tuesday, June 12, 2018 in Terre Haute, Indiana.
Mr. Murphy was born in Drakesboro, Kentucky on July 8, 1938 to the late Cova Murphy and Louise Jernigan Murphy. He retired after 20 years of service from Kenlake State Park as a supervisor. In addition, he was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War as a CPO, and a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Glenda Brooks Starks Oakley Murphy of Murray, Kentucky, they married on December 11, 1980 in Murray, Kentucky; one daughter, Kelly Scarbrough of Murray, Kentucky and one step-daughter; Angel McNickelson of Paducah, Kentucky; one son, Beck Murphy of Wingo, Kentucky and one step-son; Keith Leroy Oakley and wife Joann of Paducah, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Christopher Murphy, Sara Murphy, Leslie Mayfield, and Shawn Mayfield; also, several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the Coles Campground Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. on Friday, June 15, 2018 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
