Mrs. Pauline Johnson, age 87, of Murray, Kentucky, died, Monday, February 1, 2012 at 7:50 pm at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray, Kentucky.
She was a homemaker and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She was born in Grand Chain, Illinois on August 1, 1924 to the late Theodore and Fannie Eddleman Goins; in addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband Dr. Clyde Wright Johnson as well as three sisters and five brothers.
She is survived by one daughter, Janet Seifert and husband Tommy of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Douglas Johnson and wife Nancy of Atwood, Tennessee; one sister, Maude Webb of Marion, Illinois; six grandchildren, Tracy Banks of Hernando, Mississippi, Leslie Lockhart and husband Gene Dale of Murray, Kentucky, Devin Banks and wife Aleshia of Kirksey, Kentucky, Dea Chenot and husband Billy of Independence, Kentucky, Dean Johnson of Atwood, Tennessee, Dale Johnson and wife Stacy of Atwood, Tennessee; also eight great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, February 4, 2012 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Allen Bates officiating. Burial will follow in the Cypress Cemetery in Cypress Illinois at 2:00 pm. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to funeral hour at the church on Saturday.
