Peggy A. Dowell

Mrs. Peggy A. Dowell, age 82, of Murray Kentucky, died Monday, November 03, 2014 at Murray Calloway County Hospital.
Mrs. Dowell was born November 23, 1931, in Whitesville, Kentucky, to the late Herman E. Spurrier, and Eva Jane Allen Spurrier. She was a homemaker, and of the Methodist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Buddy Spurrier.
Survivors include her husband, Ray B. Dowell of Murray, Kentucky, they married December 25, 1955 in Whitesville, Kentucky, daughter, Belinda Peebles and husband Marc of Murray, Kentucky, son, Brad Dowell of Murray, Kentucky, sister, Nora Allen Stinnett of Louisville, Kentucky, two brothers, Bill Spurrier and wife Shirley of Ownesboro, Kentucky, and Jimmy Spurrier and wife Shirley of Ownesboro, Kentucky, two grandchildren, Amanda Peebles of Murray, Kentucky, and Adam Peebles of Nashville, Tennessee.
Private memorial services will be held at a late date.
