Mr. Perry Cornwell, age 82, of Murray Kentucky, formerly of Hardin, Ky., died Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Spring Creek Health Care.
He was born May 8, 1928 in Hardin, Ky., to the late Archie Thomas and Katie Jane Bell Cornwell.
He was retired from the Murray Division of Tappan, and was a member of the Hardin Church of Christ. Mr. Cornwell was also an Army veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by one sister, Betty Ellison and husband Ben of Farmington, Ky., two nieces, Jannis Julian and husband Greg, of Cincinnati, Oh., and Debbie Richardson of Lawrenceburg, Ky.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home, with Glenn Jones officiating. A private burial will take place at a later date.
