Perry Lamb

Mr. Perry O. Lamb, age 94, of the Coldwater Community of Farmington, Kentucky, died 11:35 pm Wednesday, June 8, 2011 in Spring Creek Health Care of Murray, Kentucky
He was a member of the Coldwater Church of Christ; Retired as a custodian with the maintenance department of Murray State University after 20 years.
He was born in Calloway County on September 6, 1916 to the late Melvin and Mattie Rogers Lamb; In addition to his parents he is also preceded by his wife Laverne Darnell Lamb; two sisters, Fayville Maddox, Layville Darnell; one brother, James R. Lamb (who was killed in France during WWII); two half brothers, Dwin Lamb and James Lamb.
He is survived by his son, Larry G. Lamb and wife June of Murray, Kentucky, half sister, Martha Murdock of Kirksey, Kentucky, granddaughter, Jennifer Ann Lamb of Murray, Kentucky.
Services will be 2:00 pm Sunday, June 12, 2011 in the chapel of the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Tim Rowland and Brad McNutt will officiate with burial following in the Coldwater Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 11, 2011 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm.
