Perscilla Faye Boggess

Mrs. Perscilla “Faye” Boggess, age 80, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023.

Mrs. Boggess was born on September 23, 1942, in Dover, Tennessee to the late James Austin Sykes and Onie Beatrice “Lee” Sykes. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Ricky James Boggess; as well as one sister, Leona Kay Tidwell.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Ed Boggess of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Ray Glenn Boggess and significant other Rebecca of Murray, Kentucky; one daughter, Sherry Wyatt and husband Kelvin of Huntsville, Alabama; one brother, James Michael Sykes and wife Paulette of Murray, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Cody Wyatt and wife Victoria of Haleyville, Alabama, Brady Boggess of Murray, Kentucky, and Riot Boggess of Murray, Kentucky; three step grandchildren, Taytum Mitchell, Paige Grinnell, and Jack Grinnell all of Murray, Kentucky; two great grandchildren, Brayden and Emerald; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 25, 2023, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
