Philenus "Mack" Westbay

Mr. Philenus M. "Mack" Westbay, age 70, of Murray, Kentucky, died on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.

Mr. Westbay was born in Gary, Indiana on October 21, 1950. He was a retired welder and heavy equipment operator with the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 181.

Mr. Westbay was preceded in death by his father, Philenus L. Westbay; his mother, Martha (Allen) Westbay Swansey; and by one daughter, Lisa Fryer.

Mr. Westbay is survived by his wife, Debra L. Westbay of Murray, Kentucky, whom he married on December 31, 2003; six sisters, Michelle, Flip, Lois, Diane, LeAnn, and Sherry; and by two brothers, Goodwin and Robert.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 1, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Bro. Rodney Cude officiating. Burial will follow in the Elm Grove Cemetery. A visitation will be held prior to the funeral service on Monday, February 1, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
