Phillip Ray Carson

Mr. Phillip Ray Carson, age 68, of Hardin, Kentucky, formerly of Kirksey, died on Monday, January 25, 2016 at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray, Kentucky.
Mr. Carson was born November 1, 1947 in Calloway County, Kentucky, to the late Fred Thomas Carson and Lena Moselle Roach Carson. Phillip was a farmer, and retired from Briggs & Stratton. He was also a member of the Kirksey Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine Carson of Hardin, Kentucky, they married June 29, 2002 in Calloway County; sister, Lena Flood of Murray, Kentucky; brother, Jackie Carson of Murray, Kentucky; also nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 28, 2016 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home, burial will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Rev. Kerry Lambert and John Mark Roberts will officiate. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2016 from 5-9 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
