Mrs. Phyllis Jean Carson, Age 78 of Benton, Kentucky, died Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at the Anna Mae Owen Hospice House in Murray, Kentucky
She was a Homemaker and worked at Fisher Price in Murray for several years; she was of Methodist Faith.
Mrs. Carson was born in Murray, Kentucky on December 14, 1941 to the late Jesse Cecil Maupin and Iola Shouse Maupin.
In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Gene Carson; two brothers, Dave Maupin and Don Maupin; as well as two great grandchildren, Delilah Elmer and Great Grandbaby Carson.
She is survived by two sons, Ricky Gene Carson (Sherry Gallimore) of Puryear, Tennessee and Donald Wayne Carson of Murray, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Matthew Carson (Jennifer), Lauren Couch (Brian), Tyler Carson, Skyler Elmer (Jared) and Tommy Starks; nine great grandchildren also survive.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 2, 2020 at the Murray Memorial Gardens. Rev. Kerry Lambert will officiate. Visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 2, 2020 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
